DO HATERS HOLD BACK YOUR PROGRESS??
You cannot please everyone but you can please yourself and love yourself.
Did anyone ever say to you... “You’re too skinny you must not be eating” or “you got big” etc.
I have been told both these statements before when I was at my “skinniest” and at my “fattest” and even now I hear negativity all around me that I can either choose to affect me or ignore. I hated hearing both this statements from people because it made me feel negative about my body image and I would get self-cautious that people really thought I wasn’t eating and when I was “big” I never wanted to go out in public because I did not want to face people calling me “fat” or “big” . These toxic people around you affect you in a way that you may not even realize. It can cause you to engage in negative self-talk, negative emotions and negative thoughts about your lifestyle change and progress.
The negative talk in the media or right in front of you from people you know can affect the way you feel about yourself and the actions you take. Instead of accomplishing your goals you may have set backs because of them because as much as you say “I don’t care what they think” you do. When you are surrounded by negativity most likely you are going to think negative so surround yourself by positivity and good vibes.
You have a choice to let the negativity to bring you down or rise above it!! No one wakes up and is like I am going to hate on this person today. You don’t have to love your haters but understand that they might be going through something that is causing their hate onto the wrong person. Most the time people who hate have self-esteem problems themselves and need to take it out on others to make themselves feel better. Instead of lashing back on the haters have compassion and try to understand where they are coming from, appreciate why your haters are hating maybe they just lost their job or lost a loved one. Have self-love this way when haters do say something to you no matter what they say it won’t shake you because you have self-love and you do not need to lash back because you do not feel the need to dip down to their level. There is no excuse for the haters but we must learn how to understand them and properly take the high road to positivity land without the haters.
